post con update
This year we had a really bad luck with our booth location , and we not only didn't get the expected corner booth , but we also got placed in a really odd location , :: in the video games and movie companies section...
Maverix was sandwiched between CSI tv show booth with actress J.L (?)hewitt(?) , and the sea of her bodyguards and fans , and SQUARE ENIX massive booth,bombarded with huuuge speakers blasting all kinds of noises .
We were located sooo far from any of our usual booth pals ....
I know it was really hard for all our friends to be able to find us , and we really appreciate your efforts :)
Thank you very much to all of you who stopped by the Maverix or Papercutz booths , it was awesome meeting and talking with you all~!
Circulating from Maverix to Papercutz booths was a massive effort for me cuz of the ocean of people circulating. It was really hard to get from one end of the con to the other, at the end of the day , all I could do is crash in my hotel exhausted.
....I was so happy I was able to see master anatomy artist JJ Kirby , Lex and friends last minute on sunday ,who introduced me briefly to SD local comic artists , all great talents in drawing anatomy and comics with crazy details. Got a lot of awesome sketchbook books and prints from them~! I was sad I wasn't able to hang out with them more.
I was really happy I was able to find friendly Josh Middleton , from whom I was able to buy an original page~!....

I regret not seeing more art , and more friends in other booths and the artist's alley , but it was awesome finally hanging out with our group of friends together sunday eve ,

this year we had quite a few con nightmare stories to share
but as they say...it's all good if it ends good (or sumthing ?)

that really was a terrible spot you guys had... I am sorry about that. BTW i still need to get a copy of ALL your stuff! I came by for some quick visits but i didnt do any shopping.
Great seeing you Sho if only briefly. Yeah, it was pretty crazy for Ghostbot as well.
Unfortunately by the time I got to that side of the con, I was broke! Ed and Tom said there might be a book sale at Mav soon. Let us know when that happens, and I'll be happy to buy the awesome loot.
I knoooow , I was so bummed I could only see friends for barely 5 min , kept trying to go see people but not able to. I was thankful for friends who were just even able to make it to maverix booth, we were sooo isolated and difficult to find ~~!
